how kart
works.
everything about kart, with the numbers. if something here and the site ever disagree, this page wins, and we'll fix the site.
01the short version
- every trade of kart pays creator rewards. 75% goes to the drawer, 25% to the team. the split is locked on chain and can never change.
- hold enough kart for 24 hours straight and you can get a real amazon order refunded in SOL.
- upload your receipt, get in line. every cart is checked by the team before it's paid. first come, first served, one round a day.
- the drawer only pays what it already holds. no refund is guaranteed.
02where the money comes from
pump.fun pays the coin's creator a small cut of every buy and sell. that's the only money kart uses. nothing is minted for it.
the split is set with pump.fun's fee sharing when the coin launches, and then locked: the admin key that could change it is revoked. after that, nobody, including us, can change who gets what. payouts come only from the drawer's 75%. the team's 25% pays for running kart and is the team's to keep.
how big the drawer gets depends entirely on trading volume. on pump.fun's bonding curve, creator rewards are 0.30% of volume. after the coin graduates, they start near 0.95% and shrink as the market cap grows. these are pump.fun's rates, and pump.fun can change them.
03when
04who can claim
hold at least your tier's amount of kart in one wallet, without dropping below it, for 24 hours. bigger bag, bigger cart.
| tier | hold at least | that's | cart refunded up to | opens at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| flatbed | 0.5% of supply | 5,000,000 kart | $150 | level 1 |
| cart | 0.25% | 2,500,000 kart | $75 | level 1 |
| basket | 0.1% | 1,000,000 kart | $25 | level 1 |
| handbasket | 0.05% | 500,000 kart | $15 | level 2 |
| tote | 0.025% | 250,000 kart | $10 | level 3 |
how it's checked: when you claim, we read your wallet's history on chain and find the lowest balance you had at any moment in the last 24 hours. that number sets your tier. sell or send below your tier, even for a minute, and the 24-hour clock starts over. we check again when your cart is approved, so selling while you wait in line gets your claim rejected.
a smaller bag at approval means a smaller cap: if you drop from cart to basket while waiting, you're refunded up to $25, not $75.
05levels: strict first, then open
kart launches at level 1, so only bigger holders can claim. that protects the drawer while it fills.
when the drawer is overflowing, the team opens the kart to smaller holders: level 2, then level 3. overflowing means 80% of the drawer is well above every cart already in line. if the line ever grows bigger than the drawer can pay, a level can close again.
- level changes are announced on @kartonsol first. new tiers still need the full 24-hour hold.
- if a level closes, carts already in line keep their tier. closing only stops new claims at that tier.
- the current level is shown at the top of this page and on the main page.
06what counts as a cart
- amazon orders only for now. we'll add more stores and more ways to get refunded as kart grows, announced on X first.
- ordered in the last 14 days when you submit.
- a standard amazon order number, like
112-1234567-1234567. digital orders such as kindle or apps don't count yet. - you're refunded the cart total or your tier's cap, whichever is lower, in SOL.
- each order can be claimed once, ever, by anyone.
- the receipt can be the amazon order page or the confirmation email, as a screenshot or pdf (jpg, png, webp or pdf, under 3 MB). it has to show the order number, date, total, and the name and ZIP it ships to. blur your street address and card details.
07how to claim
- on the main page, connect the wallet holding your kart (phantom, solflare or backpack) and sign the message. signing doesn't move anything.
- fill in the order number, date, cart total, and the name and ZIP the order ships to, then upload the receipt.
- press get in line. the team checks your receipt against what you entered.
- once approved, you're paid in a daily round, in line order. your status and place in line show on the main page.
- when you're paid, the transaction appears on the returns list and on solscan.
08the line and the rounds
- the line is strict first come, first served, by when you submitted.
- each day at 20:00 utc a round opens. it can pay out at most 80% of what the drawer holds. the other 20% stays as a buffer.
- approved carts are paid in full, in order, until the round's money runs out. nobody skips ahead: if the next cart doesn't fit, the round stops there, even if a smaller cart further back would fit.
- anyone not paid keeps their place for the next round.
- your refund is set in dollars and converted to SOL at the price on the day you're paid, sent to the wallet that claimed.
- claims are reviewed by people, so approval can take a while. rejections come with a reason.
09limits
- one wallet per person. your first claim ties your wallet to the name and ZIP on your order; the same person can't claim from another wallet, and that wallet can't claim for someone else.
- each receipt file once. the same screenshot can't be used twice.
- one claim in line per wallet at a time.
- one paid cart per wallet every 7 days.
- each order number once.
using several wallets, someone else's name or order, or edited receipts gets claims rejected. we'd rather pay more people honestly than fewer people twice.
10check our work
- the drawer wallet:
posted at launch. anyone can look up its balance and every payment it sends. - the token:
posted at launch. - the locked split: the fee-sharing setup and the transaction that locked it are posted on @kartonsol at launch.
- every payout is on the returns list with its transaction. our server checks each payment on chain before marking a claim paid.
11privacy and safety
- receipts are stored privately, seen only by the team, and deleted once your claim is paid or rejected.
- the name and ZIP you enter are cleared once your claim is reviewed. we keep only a one-way fingerprint of them, enough to tell if the same person shows up on another wallet, but not to read the name back.
- the returns list shows a shortened wallet, the store, the amount and the transaction. no names, no addresses.
- we will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, or ask you to send anything first. signing in is a message, not a transaction. anyone asking you to pay to get refunded is not us.
12what we don't promise
- no refund is guaranteed. if the drawer is empty, the line waits. if trading dries up, it may wait a long time.
- no amount or date is promised beyond "first come, first served, while the drawer lasts."
- kart is a memecoin. its price can go to zero. nothing here is financial advice.
- the 75/25 split can never change. tiers, caps, stores, the cooldown and round times can, and any change is announced on X before it applies.
13questions
- i bought kart an hour ago. can i claim?
not yet. your 24-hour clock started when you reached your tier. the main page shows when you'll be eligible.
- i hold kart in two wallets. do they add up?
no. it's per wallet, and you can only use one. move it all into the wallet you claim with, then wait 24 hours.
- can i sell right after i'm paid?
you can. you'll just need to hold again for 24 hours before your next cart, and it's still one paid cart per 7 days.
- my order was more than my cap. do i get anything?
yes, up to your cap. a $200 order at the cart tier is refunded $75.
- why was i rejected?
the reason is shown under "your carts". common ones: the post wasn't from your linked account, the receipt didn't match, or you sold before approval. fix it and claim again with a valid order.
- why amazon only?
its order numbers have a fixed format we can check, which makes fake receipts harder. more stores may come later.
